GLASSWARE

There’s something magical about the way light interacts with crystal, creating a rainbow of colors that seem to dance in the air. I’ve always been captivated by this interplay of transparency and brilliance. In my work with crystal, I aim to capture that magic, turning this delicate, yet powerful material into objects of beauty and utility. For over three centuries, French artisans have perfected the art of mouth-blowing and hand-cutting crystal, transforming it into pieces that are as translucent as water, as solid as rock, and as fragile as an egg. Whether it’s a hand-cut glass designed to hold a shot of frozen vodka or a champagne flute crafted for a toast that reaches the heavens, each piece is a celebration of the material’s unique properties. The way crystal captures and refracts light never ceases to amaze me, and I strive to create designs that honor its inherent beauty while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
