PORCELAIN

Working closely with chefs to design porcelain is a deeply rewarding process. It’s about more than just creating a beautiful object; it’s about understanding the culinary vision and crafting a stage on which that vision can be realized. In the workshop, I push the boundaries of what porcelain can do, experimenting with form, texture, and color to create pieces that enhance the dining experience. Whether it’s a plate that frames a dish in just the right way or a bowl that elevates a simple soup to a work of art, each piece is designed to be both functional and inspiring. The goal is to create a seamless connection between the food and the porcelain, allowing the chef’s creations to shine. The movement of the tides has always fascinated me — the way they ebb and flow, constant yet ever-changing. Inspired by this natural rhythm, I designed « Tide », a porcelain collection for a private contemporary space aboard a mega yacht. The collection, crafted in platinum, reflects the fluidity of the ocean, with each piece capturing the movement of water as it rises and falls. It’s a collection that speaks to the beauty of nature and the power of the sea, bringing a sense of serenity and sophistication to the space.

To mark Haviland’s 170th anniversary, I designed « Tiara », a collection of porcelain adorned with 24k gold and platinum. Each piece in the collection is a testament to the company’s rich heritage and commitment to craftsmanship. The delicate gold and platinum accents add a touch of luxury to the porcelain, creating pieces that are both timeless and modern. It’s a celebration of Haviland’s legacy, a tribute to the artistry and dedication that have defined the brand for over a century.

In collaboration with Zuber, I created a porcelain collection that celebrates the vibrant nature and wildlife of Brazil. Inspired by the country’s rich biodiversity, the collection features intricate depictions of birds, plants, and animals, all brought to life with vivid colors and fine detail. Handcrafted using the finest French techniques, each piece is a tribute to the natural beauty of Brazil and the artistry of French porcelain. From the majestic peacock to the delicate flowers, every element of the collection is a celebration of life, color, and tradition.
